Flooding in Duluth and muddy waters on Lake Superior promp a move to Knife River Marina

The heavy rains created muddy waters near Duluth Superior.   The flood prompted us to relocate the “Hooker Too”  temporarily to Knife River.   Mud and debris was there too, but not bad enough to hurt the fishing. Captain Dave finds some salmon May 24th

On a cold a rainy afternoon, Captain Dave Dahl with guests, Keith and Jolene.   Near the Duluth entry they found some hungry salmon and lake trout.  Dipsy divers, Xraps on the trolling boards, and   downriggers at 20 ft.

On May 10th we took advantage of great weather and invited retired captain Randol . Lake Superior Pelicans – fly by

After a week of strong northeast winds. Captains Peter and Dave Dahl. Went fishing for some food on Lake Superior.  After an hour or so of searching they were rewarded with some nice lake trout, a salmon, plus a pelican fly by.  Reminds me of Florida.
